Independent project. The album cover was created for the drum-and-bass, techno-punk band “HZV”. Their music is highly contrasting and harsh (18+), so the design uses tactile materials as dissonant as the band: sandpaper and bubble wrap. A stencil font and black-and-orange colors emphasize the music's raw brutality. Because of its functional design, the cover can be reused for other purposes, such as grinding surfaces. In 2022, this work received Gold in the Visual category & Gold in Concept Communication at the Power of Young award.
